San Fran/ Fisherman's Wharf/ and Pier 39
I love going to the pier! There is any store you can think of and the all too famous Bubba Gumps, needless to say this is where we at for our Anniversary dinner. There is also this fun Merry-go-round! Its kind of Romantic, the city scenery, the Ocean, and of coarse the delightfully smelling sea lions!!:) they are seriously so cute, if i could have one for a pet i would in a heart beat!
Alcatraz! THE ROCK
On our trip to California we went to San Francisco and fisherman's wharf! We took a Cruise over to "The Rock" and it was AWESOME! Mike and I loved every second of it, except for pushing the gimps around in their wheel chairs!(jk cole and dad, i love you!) It was a really cool tour and very eerie! the weather was gorgeous and then when we got on the boat i was soaked in the first five minutes, and i will say i was very upset because it took a long time to do my hair!:( The overcast, foggy weather added to the eerie atmosphere and it was amazing!
Anniversary!! 2 Freakin years!!
Yeah for Two years!! Well it wasn't the most romantic getaway, but it was a blast! We got to help my poor sis who had just had knee surgery, poor little thing:( She graduated that weekend with her Bachelors in Criminal Justice!! Good Job Nicole! We had a fun little pool party, (that's why in one of the pictures my hair and makeup are so lovely:)

The Triathlon
Well it was like four months but I am finally getting around to writing about the triathlon, mostly it was the trouble of getting the pictures off the web, I'm kinda not smart when it comes to this blogging thing. But I did a Triathlon in May of this year, 2008, and it was truly amazing!!! I did it with some of my favorite gal pals, Millie Degraff and Cassie Mark! We trained for a good three or four months all by ourselves, and I think we did a pretty good job considering we almost drowned at the first swim practice!!!:) Any who, we worked hard and the day finally came, with a little support from our sweeties and loved ones we made it through the 300 yard swim, 11 mile bike ride, and 3 mile run with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment!! It was more empowering than i ever thought it would be! I never thought something so hard, a real internal battle, could be so amazing!! I learned a lot from that experience!!
The next Goal in mind...
Well the next venture will be running a half marathon, but I am a horrible runner and found a lot of things I need to fix, so if you have any bad habits you need to break in your running here's the website with a great article!!

Birdseye and Family
Although we miss having Rick and Sue right up the street to visit at any time of the day, we enjoy our weekends up the canyon with the stress relieveing solitude and gorgeous scenery! Gas is ridiculous as all of us know, but we never pass down a chance to bond with Rick and Sue at the Birdseye house! Especially when the other family and friends are around!! In the Pictures are My nieces Sariah and Kiara with our friend across the sreet Paige, and of coarse myself and Sugar one of our favorite dogs!!!
Hunting the Rattler's and Cyotes!!
We all ready miss you Rachel and Aaron!! This was one of our little bonding trips up to my parent's house is Birdseye. The boys went out in the morning to hunt and shoot for a couple of hours while us women stayed home and made the most delicous mountain breakfast imaginable!! My Grandpa Olsen would be proud! Its always fun hanging out with the Brady's, never a dull moment!:)
